MHFA and BFA
These groups are open to those who play violin, viola, cello, and double bass.
There is no limit to the number of participants in the orchestras.
~ Cadet Orchestra
Students should be playing at a minimum level of end of Suzuki Book 1/early Book 2 (or a comparable level in another method) with some note-reading ability.
~ Chamber Orchestra
This orchestra is for advanced players (Suzuki Book 4 and above). These players also play with the Cadet Orchestra.
~ Symphonic Orchestra
This orchestra combines the Chamber Orchestra along with select advanced wind players from the Concert Band.
Orchestra literature ranges from standard orchestral works to sacred and lighter numbers.

Copland - Hoedown from Rodeo
Mozart - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
Corelli - Christmas Concerto
Pachelbel - Canon in D
The Chamber Orchestra has performed at the Illinois State Homeschool Convention in Naperville.
