MHFA and BFA
The band program is for those who play the following instruments: piccolo, flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet/cornet, French horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and percussion.
There is no limit to the number of participants in the bands.
~ Cadet Band
For participation in this band, students should have completed at least half of Standard of Excellence Book 1 or its equivalent.
~ Concert Band
This band challenges students on a more advanced level.
Repertoire ranges from sacred and novelty numbers to classic band literature. There are also opportunities to play in smaller ensembles or, at the conductor's discretion, to play in the Symphonic Orchestra.
