Brian Wessel has a B.A. in Church Music with an emphasis in Composition from Moody Bible Institute and has done graduate work in Church Music at Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas and Music Education at VanderCook School of Music in Chicago. He has been active in church music for over 45 years and is currently the band director at Marquette Manor Baptist Academy in Downer's Grove and the choir director at Independent Baptist Church in Bolingbrook.
Kathy Wessel has a B.S. in Music Education from Bob Jones University and taught music in a Christian school for eight years. She has been active in church music for over 45 years as a choir and service accompanist. The Wessels homeschooled their children for over 20 years.
Jonathan Wessel is the director of our Classic Players. A trained Meisner actor, he has over 15 years of acting experience and has performed in numerous plays while more recently branching out into film, television and commercials. This is Jonathan's 10th year as the MHFA drama director.
